Rajasthan Launches Vande Ganga Campaign for Water Conservation and Desilting

Water Resources Minister Suresh Singh Rawat launched the Vande Ganga campaign following a cabinet decision. The state-wide initiative focuses on the desilting of canals and vital water channels. It includes comprehensive cleanliness drives and voluntary labour camps at rivers, ponds, and local water harvesting structures. Over 5,962 targeted activities have already been conducted across Rajasthan districts.
