MSV-2035 Warns of Overreliance on Foreign Climate Models

The Mega Science Vision-2035 Report on Climate Research, submitted to the Principal Scientific Adviser, warns of India’s overreliance on foreign climate models and instruments. It urgently recommends building indigenous Earth System Models using artificial intelligence and investing in domestic scientific manufacturing to ensure accurate, India-specific climate forecasting and credible net-zero policy implementation.
