Lakhpati Didi Scheme Implemented to Empower Rural Women Entrepreneurs

Women and Child Development Minister Manju Baghmar launched the state-level implementation of the Lakhpati Didi scheme in Bhilwara district. The program targets the economic empowerment of women through Self Help Groups, providing specialized skill training in areas like tailoring and local handicrafts. The rural development department aims to create one lakh women micro-entrepreneurs this fiscal year, significantly uplifting the rural socio-economic landscape across Rajasthan.
