Government On Track To Achieve 3 Percent Compressed Biogas Blending Target

The Union government is successfully on track to meet its target of blending 3 percent compressed biogas (CBG) with CNG and domestic piped natural gas for the current financial year. Officials noted that the blending percentage has already doubled to approximately 2 percent. This initiative is critical for reducing fossil fuel dependency, promoting circular economy practices, and significantly advancing India's transition towards greener energy alternatives.
