Desert National Park Reports Success in Godawan Captive Breeding

The Forest Department of Rajasthan achieved a significant conservation milestone with the successful hatching of three Great Indian Bustard (Godawan) chicks at the Desert National Park in Jaisalmer. Environment Minister Sanjay Sharma announced the allocation of additional funds to expand the artificial breeding center. This critical effort aims to save the critically endangered state bird of Rajasthan from total extinction through dedicated scientific intervention.
