DAC Approves Procurement of Six Stealth Submarines Under Project-75I

The Defence Acquisition Council has finally cleared the long-pending Project-75 India initiative to construct six advanced conventional stealth submarines equipped with Air Independent Propulsion technology. To be strategically built under the domestic Strategic Partnership model, this critical move will significantly boost the Indian Navy's underwater combat capabilities and vital deterrence posture in the Indo-Pacific region amid increasing hostile naval deployments nearby.
