Bangladesh Joins India-Led International Big Cat Alliance for Wildlife Conservation

Bangladesh has officially joined India's International Big Cat Alliance as its twenty-seventh member country. This strategic accession aims to enhance joint conservation strategies, critical habitat protection, and transboundary wildlife management. It specifically strengthens the conservation of the Bengal tiger and leopard in the Sundarbans region, promoting South Asian ecosystem protection through coordinated population monitoring, intelligence data sharing, and robust anti-poaching efforts.
